Christophe hits injury-time equaliser
Jon Adams' brace was enough to earn AFC Telford a deserved replay as Jean-Francois Christophe spared Southend's blushes in a 2-2 draw.
Christophe, on loan from Premier League Portsmouth, smashed home from 25-yards out to level in injury-time.
Francis Laurent's goal gave the Shrimpers a half-time lead before Peter Clarke had a goal disallowed and a penalty saved by Ryan Young.
Adams thought he had sealed AFC Telford's passage to the second round when he fired home in the 70th and 82nd minutes, before Christophe's late heroics saved the League One side.
Southend opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Laurent stroked home Christophe's through-ball, before Young saved Clarke's spot-kick two minutes later after Anthony Grant had been pushed in the area.
The Bucks hit back as Adams struck twice, but Christophe's late deflected strike sealed a replay.
