Sandell and Davies on target for hosts
Andrew Sandell notched his first goal for Aldershot as they chalked up their sixth home win of the season by beating Lincoln 2-0.
The former Salisbury midfielder bundled in a 36th-minute corner before Scott Davies smashed home from close range on the hour to maintain the Shots' unbeaten home record.
Lincoln have now gone three games without a goal and rarely looked like threatening Nikki Bull in the Aldershot goal with Marvin Morgan's header against his own bar the closest they came to a breakthrough
Shots defender Chris Blackburn created the first opportunity of the match as his cut-back was crucially intercepted by Imps defender Lee Beavers.
Aldershot finally went ahead when Sandell forced home Davies' corner after Burch had produced a stunning save to deny Morgan.
And Sandell turned provider on 60 minutes, nodding down Ricky Newman's long ball to Davies who fired home his sixth of the season, while Aaron Brown wasted the visitors' best chance late on.
