Reus and Dante seal straightforward win for Monchengladbach
A goal in either half earned Borussia Monchengladbach a comfortable 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday.
The hosts opened the scoring after just six minutes play at the Stadion Borussia with a close range header from Marco Reus handing Monchengladbach the perfect start.
Ten minutes into the restart, Juan Arango's free-kick delivery was met by the head of Brazilian centre-back Dante, beating Oka Nikolov in the Frankfurt goal to double the home side's lead.
Frankfurt's frustrations were evident in the second period as they picked up four yellow cards throughout the half.
The win lifts Monchengladbach up to 11th place in the Bundesliga at the expense of Hoffenheim, who can reclaim that position with a win over Cologne on Saturday.
