Quakers pushed closer to inevitable relegation
Bradford ended a run of eight home league matches without a win by beating bottom club Darlington 1-0 at Valley Parade.
It was the Bantams' second win in four days under new manager Peter Taylor after beating League Two leaders Rochdale 3-1 at Spotland on Tuesday.
Leading scorer James Hanson scored the only goal of the match with a close-range header from Gareth Evans' right-wing cross after 26 minutes.
But Bradford were unable to build on that lead and survived some anxious moments in the second half before completing their first home win in the league since 24th October.
Home goalkeeper Matt Glennon did well to turn Darlington's best effort - an angled shot from Josh Gray - round the post for a corner in the 55th minute.
At the other end Evans was unlucky to see his goal-bound shot blocked by substitute Alan White and substitute striker Michael Boulding was twice off target in the closing stages.
