Swindon have ended Leon Knight's short trial because of "insufficient fitness levels".
The 28-year-old striker was signed as a trialist on Tuesday and was expected to join the team on their tour of Italy which starts next week. But the Robins have confirmed journeyman Knight has been released because of "insufficient fitness levels". Meanwhile, goalkeeper David Lucas has joined Rochdale for pre-season training after being given permission to leave the County Ground.
