The Cottagers are known to be one of the clubs that travelled to watch Hajduk Split tackle Bursaspor in a pre-season friendly.
And the reason for Fulham's presence was hot-shot Vukusic, who has previously been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.
Martin Jol's scouts are keeping close tabs on the highly-rated 20-year-old, who has scored 21 goals in the last two campaigns with Hajduk.
Vukusic is a Croatia Under-21 international, who has spent his whole career in Split.
