Ivorian defender believes he could compete in the Championship
Ivory Coast international Marco Zoro is available as a free agent and is looking to secure a move to England.
The 27-year-old defender has been without a club since being released by Benfica over the summer.
He claims to have been approached by numerous clubs, with the opportunity there for him to take in a number of trials.
Zoro is, however, determined to secure a switch to England and believes the experience he has picked up in Italy and Portugal would make him a useful asset to a Championship side.
"I can be of help to a team in England," he told
skysports.com.
"I have trial offers from various clubs across Europe, but I want to play in England.
Experienced
"I am ready to play in the Championship and there are clubs like Nottingham Forest that I can help.
"I am an experienced defender that has played in top leagues like Serie A. I am fit and ready to play at a high level."
Reports suggest Zoro is a target for the likes of Bristol City, Coventry and Preston.
It has also been claimed that he could make a move to Scotland, with Dundee United and Motherwell keeping a close eye on his situation.
"I am willing to play in Scotland if an offer arrives," added Zoro.
"I am available on a free and ready to stop strikers from scoring."
