Hungarian midfielder to head for Italy in the summer

Genk midfielder Daniel Tozser will be playing his football in Italy next season, with a four-contract having been agreed with Genoa. As revealed by skysports.com last month, Tozser has agreed a deal to join Genoa despite interest from a number of English clubs. The Hungary international has spent the last four years in Belgium, but will set off for Italy in the summer. The 26-year-old midfielder's contract is due to expire at the end of the season, meaning he is free to speak to other clubs. Genoa made their move and Tozser is delighted to have put a deal in place with the Serie A outfit. "It is a good sign that the club offered me a long contract," he told www.origo.hu.

Trust

"It means that they have faith in me and appreciate what I have done in my career so far. "I will do my best to repay that trust. "I'm aware that I am taking a step forward and I know there will be tough competition. "There are footballers with great tactical knowledge in Serie A and the passing game is very important for midfielders, as they control the game. That is one of my strengths. "I am hoping to leave Genk after enjoying a great season."
