Saunders casts eye over Senegal international
Sky Sports understands Doncaster have taken Senegal goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul on trial.
Coundoul is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls.
The flamboyant keeper has spent the last six years in America with Colorado Rapids and the Red Bulls and he is thought to be keen on trying his luck in England.
Coundoul was first-choice shot-stopper for Senegal at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, but was helpless as his country failed to progress from the group stage.
Rovers boss Dean Saunders will now cast an eye over Coundoul in training as he weighs up a move.
Coundoul will link up with fellow Senegal stars El Hadji Diouf, Habib Beye and Lamine Diatta in South Yorkshire as he looks to impress Saunders and his coaching staff.
