Foxes cancel defender's deal at King Power Stadium
Leicester City have parted company with defender John Pantsil after reaching a mutual agreement to end his contract.
The Ghana international made just seven appearances for the Championship club during a nine-month spell after joining as a free agent.
Pantsil, who made more than 100 appearances for West Ham United and Fulham, was Sven-Goran Eriksson's eighth summer signing at the King Power Stadium.
The 30-year-old managed just five starts and two substitute appearances in total, the last of which came in mid-October.
"John's departure will see him become a free agent and he leaves City with the best wishes of everyone at the football club," read a statement on the club's
official website.
