Versatile Dagenham defender Richard Rose has had his contract terminated by mutual consent, while defender Andrew Byrne has joined the club.
Rose, 29, joined the League Two club a year ago on a free transfer after leaving Hereford. But he has struggled to hold down a place in the first team and Daggers boss John Still told the club's official webite: "It just perhaps didn't work out how everyone would have liked for him this time around. "All the coaching staff wish him all the best and I have to say he is one of the game's nice guys, a real top fellow and we wish him the best of luck." Heading into the club is Byrne, 18, who impressed while playing in a reserve match for Bradford. Still added: "Andrew is a young boy that we're going to take. He's only a baby, but I like him."
