Preston North End defender Ben Davies has extended his youth loan deal with York City until January.
The 18-year-old, who originally joined the Minstermen in July on a month-long deal, has appeared twice for Nigel Worthington's side so far this season and can be recalled by North End at 24 hours' notice. Davies made three senior appearances for Preston before an impressive pre-season under Simon Grayson.
