Sheridan imposes media ban

Image: John Sheridan: Taking responsibility

Furious Plymouth Argyle boss John Sheridan would not allow his squad to talk to the media after their 3-0 defeat to Wycombe.

The Pilgrims lost for the second home game this season as the Chairboys rattled in three late goals in Saturday's League Two clash at Home Park, leaving Sheridan to do the talking for his under-performing side. Sheridan told the Plymouth Herald: "I get annoyed with people talking when we win two or three games. It does get to me. "I will do all the talking. We are not a good enough team to go out and say 'we are doing this and we are doing that'. "It's only me who should be talking really, for all of them, and I mean that. I know what's around the corner so I have got to stay focused and not let them switch off. "I want them to be bad losers. I really do. "When they are losing, I want them to make it as difficult as possible for the opposition and we did not make it difficult for them (Wycombe)."
