Ryan Ginand scored a hat-trick as Coventry Blaze handed Elite League leaders Dundee Stars their second defeat in three matches with a 6-2 victory.
Ginand's treble, allied with further strikes from Adam Henrich, Ashley Tait and Kenny Kallstrom ensured the Blaze claimed their fourth consecutive win.
Rory Rawlyk scored twice for Dundee, who lost for the first time this season against Belfast Giants nine days ago before bouncing back to hammer Cardiff.
Calvin Elfring scored the winner as Belfast overcame a valiant Hull Stingrays side 3-2.
The Northern Irish side looked to have the points sewn up after goals from Kevin Saurette and Dustin Whitecotton, but Jereme Tendler and Derek Campbell hit back in the third quarter, only for Elfring to win it for the Giants.
