Monday Night Raw: Edge returns, Bryan has last laugh

Toronto welcomed back their home-grown R-Rated superstar Edge to host Monday night's Raw which included a special edition of 'The Cutting Edge' - a chat show in which WWE COO Triple H had asked him to interview WWE Champion Randy Orton, because it would be 'good for business'.

Edge saw things differently and in a fruitful attempt to bring even more tension decided to bring out Daniel Bryan as his guest instead.

It wasn't long before Triple H and The Viper were out to end the chit-chat and after Edge questioned The Game's talent-scouting ability, Triple H offered Bryan the chance to prove his worth by fighting US Champion Dean Ambrose - who had the added help of Big Show in his corner.

As a symbol of his authority, Triple H then got The Shield to drag out the beaten body of Christian.

With Big Show under orders not to touch The Shield or he's fired, Bryan was flying solo. The submission master quickly despatched Tag Team Rollins & Reigns who were hovering around the ropes and won his match.

Then it was Randy Orton himself who entered the ring, possibly annoyed that his 'Cutting Edge' appearance was cancelled or just getting involved in the Bryan bashing, he straight away struck him with an RKO.

Triple H then entered and demanded that Big Show take Bryan down. Whilst Big Show hesitated, the No.1 contender was able to recover and with a running knee to the face he left Orton down on the mats.
